Hi everyone,
As we all read in the middle of July, styleygeek has stopped running the carnival of GRADual progress for a few reasons, but most importantly, because she is finishing up (her recent posts suggest this is happening quite soon)!! A big round of congratulations to styleygeek and many thanks for running the carnival for the past year or so!!!
I am taking over the carnival as of now, so I wanted to introduce myself before we get things rolling again. I've only been blogging for a few months and I didn't really start reading academic blogs regularly until this past semester while taking exams. The carnival was so helpful to me during exams that I really wanted to continue it if I could, so here we are.
I will host the next carnival (please send me submissions!) and my goal is to have it up by October 1; I'm currently doing a research trip so I'll need a little time to get adjusted before starting. And after that, I'm hoping to get people to host as well as hosting a few myself; I'll figure out a regular schedule in October. I'll be in touch with those of you who offered to host future carnivals through your blogs and any and all suggestions are welcome.
In the meantime, keep blogging, keep working hard, keep submitting entries and, when you get the chance, stop by my fledgling blog: thefrogprincess.wordpress.com
